Cookie Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
We use only first-party cookies that are needed for the Service to work. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies from third parties, or cross-site tracking. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they are set without a consent banner.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| wwc_gid | A random guest identifier, so you have one check-in per day and one ballot per Debate. It does not identify you personally. | 400 days |
| wwc_ref | Remembers which creator or share link brought you here, for aggregate attribution only. It never adds voting weight. | 7 days |
| better-auth.* (session cookies) | Keep you signed in if you create an account. | Up to 60 days |
Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects voting from bots, may set its own strictly necessary cookies.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, you can still view results, but voting may not work correctly, and clearing them resets your guest identity.
