Terms of Use
Effective October 14, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Wrist League (the “Service”), operated by Wrist League (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to online services) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms.
2. The Service
The Service lets you report the watch you are wearing each day, share a watch you are interested in, vote in community polls (“Debates”), view community statistics, subscribe to email updates and, optionally, create an account. The core features are free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
3. Accounts
- An account is optional. If you create one, provide an email address you control and keep access to it secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may export your data or delete your account at any time from your account page.
4. Fair participation
The statistics are only meaningful if everyone plays fair. You agree that you will not:
- submit more than one wrist check per day or more than one ballot per Debate, including by using multiple browsers, devices, accounts, or by clearing cookies to vote again;
- use bots, scripts, automated tools, or paid or coordinated fake activity to submit, inflate, or manipulate check-ins, ballots, or interest reports;
- attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features, bot checks, or rate limits;
- report a watch you are not actually wearing for the purpose of manipulating rankings.
Encouraging friends and followers to take part is welcome. Referral and creator links never give extra voting weight. We may hold, review, exclude, or reject any submission we reasonably believe breaks these rules, and may restrict access for abuse. See our methodology for how integrity is handled.
5. Statistics and Debates
Results reflect check-ins and votes from participating users of the Service, under our published methodology. They are provided for entertainment and community interest only. They are not a survey of all watch wearers, not expert reviews, and not professional, financial, or purchasing advice. Interest reports are not commitments to buy.
6. Your submissions
When you submit selections, catalog suggestions or other content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, store, aggregate, display and publish that content as part of the Service and its statistics, including in anonymous aggregate form in social posts and newsletters. We never publish how an individual voted. You confirm that anything you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not infringe anyone's rights.
7. Community conduct and moderation
Our Community & Moderation Guidelines form part of these Terms. We may remove content, reject suggestions, or suspend accounts that break them.
8. Intellectual property and trademarks
The Service, its design, software, text and graphics are owned by us or our licensors. You may share links, results pages and the share images we generate for personal, non-commercial purposes. Watch brand and model names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify products. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement of the Service.
9. Creator pages
Pages about watch creators are labelled as official only when the creator has given us written authorization. Other creator pages are labelled as independent or unclaimed and are not affiliated with or endorsed by that creator. Creators who want a page changed, claimed or removed can contact us at sean@shap.ca.
10. Email
Newsletters are sent only after you confirm your subscription. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can change your preferences at any time. Transactional messages, such as sign-in links, are sent only when you request them.
11. Sponsorship and advertising
Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled. Sponsors and advertisers cannot buy, influence or alter rankings, vote counts or Debate results.
12. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites (for example, creator channels). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that statistics will be complete or free from manipulation.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to CAD $100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by our own fault.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Sections 6, 8 and 13–18 survive termination.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of that province have jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice on the Service or by email to members. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
